Show of Hands and Jim Carter on Andrew Marr ‘Remembrance Day’ Show….

For those not already aware SOH and Jim Carter will be appearing on this Sunday morning’s Andrew Marr Show ‘Remembrance Day’ special. Showing on BBC1 TV at 9am Sunday 9 Nov it will feature Steve and Jim in a medley of ‘To Victory/Have You Seen The Sergeant’ and then the full SOH line up performing, all filmed at London’s Imperial War Museum.

Steve to appear on major BBC 2 TV series The Great British Story

Show of Hands’ inspired frontman and BBC award-winning songwriter Steve Knightley is to appear in a major new BBC 2 TV series starting next week.

The Cornish song ‘Cousin Jack’ will be filmed at the du Maurier Festival Fowey this coming Tuesday 15th May for inclusion in a BBC documentary – THE GREAT BRITISH STORY – that starts transmitting on BBC 2 Friday May 25th.

Sky Arts are broadcasting a 2-hour special ‘Centre Stage’ programme of Cambridge Folk Festival highlights on Saturday night (21 August) at 9pm.

In addition there will be four one-hour programmes broadcast throughout October, details tbc.
