Others such as Town Hall Birmingham (rear of Stalls and Circle only), Lighthouse Poole (Rear Rake only), Theatre Severn Shrewsbury (Upper Circle only) and Queen’s Theatre Barnstaple (Upper Circle only) have very limited availability.


Autumn Tour 2014

With the start of the major autumn tour now only a month away, Steve, Phil & Miranda get back together this month for some late summer special events and festival dates. Tickets for the tour are selling fast with the shows at Norwich Open, Birmingham Town Hall, Theatre Severn Shrewsbury, Octagon Yeovil and the two nights at Exmouth Pavilion all approaching sell out. Bracknell’s South Hill Park Festival of Folk 2014 now on sale

South Hill Park Arts Centre’s ‘Festival of Folk 2014′ has just gone on sale – click here. The one-day event on Sunday 21 September is a celebration of the best in folk, roots and acoustic music. The theatre show this year will be headlined by the iconic Show of Hands, alongside an afternoon session headed up by BBC Folk Award nominees Gilmore and Roberts. Support for SoH comes from young singer songwriter Aimée who, alongside her siblings Freya and Ross, wowed the audience at the recent SOH Abbotsbury concert.

There will also be a full programme of live music out on the terrace and on a stage in the mansion house – which is completely free of charge. This is complimented by a real ale bar, BBQ, stalls, morris dancing displays and some bits and pieces to keep the kids entertained!

Abbotsbury just a few days away

Hi Folks, the 16th in our series of Summer Family Concerts at Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens, on Dorset’s beautiful Jurassic coast, is almost upon us. The weather for Saturday looks pretty good so pack those picnics and blankets and head on down this Saturday 5th July.

As Phil’s away on his ‘Folk Boat’ trips Steve has put together a special line up:

Abbotsbury 2014

The annual Abbotsbury Summer Family Concert will be on Saturday 5th July this year – make a note of the date. As Phil will be off doing his Folk Boat thing Steve is putting together an interesting line up of new and familiar names. The full line up and ticketing details will be confirmed in February and tickets will go on sale in early March from Abbotsbury Tourism.
