St Ives Festival patrons, Steve Knightley and Phil Beer present an informal, illustrated concert revealing how the West Country and Cornwall in particular has influenced their music and careers. From those early days as teenagers listening to troubadours such as Mike Chapman, Bob Devereux and Ralph McTell to their more recent association with Fishermen’s friends and Peter Gabriel, they will play and talk about iconic songs such as ‘Cousin Jack’ as well as performing the full 22 minute version of ‘Tall Ships’.
