Phil Beer on BBC Radio 2

April 30th 2013

On 10th May, at the Hackney Empire at around 12 noon, Phil Beer will be talking to Bob Harris about his folk-style fiddle playing. Bob will also be talking to Cynthia Fleming, the leader of the BBC Concert Orchestra, about her approach to playing classical-style violin, exploring how musicians in different genres approach the same instrument. Both musicians will play to illustrate the conversation, as well as a duet together.

This will broadcast live on the Jeremy Vine show, as part of the BBC Radio 2 2Day event celebrating the range of output and music on the network.
