Morwellham Quay sell-out gig goes ahead

September 21st 2009

The venue have issued a statement which says:
‘Despite recent concerns regarding the future of the Morwellham Quay, and the decision by Devon County Council to refuse further funding for the site, the Show of Hands concert this Thurs 24th Sept will still go ahead.
Unfortunately the Ship Inn will be closed but guests are invited to ‘Bring Your Own’ drinks and snacks to the intimate evening in the Manganese barn. Doors will open at 7.30 with music starting at 8pm. It is a seated event although it would be wise to bring a cushion / blanket for comfort.’
